| About the PS - | Chandrakona P.S belongs to Ghatal Sub-division in the district of Paschim Medinipur, which is known for a historic place and freedom movement. There are three Municipalities and two Blocks under this P.S jurisdiction named i. Chandrakona Municipality, ii. Khirpai Municipality, iii. Ramjibanpur Municipality, iv. Chandrakona Block-I and Chandrakona Block-II. All the Municipalities have three T.O.P’s for maintaining law & order. Garhbeta, Ghatal, Keshpur and Goghata(Hooghly) are the neighbored P.S’s of Chandrakona P.S. It is also learnt that in the year 1489 LORD GURU NANAK during his journey to puri (Orissa) stayed in Ramgarh, where at present an Ashram has built up.
