| About the PS - | Since 1976 at Belda there was a Police out post under Narayangarh PS within Belda Circle. In the year 1976 Belda OP has been upgraded a Police Station by Belda PS was within the Belda Circle with other 04 Police Station viz Dantan, Narayangarh, Keshiary & Mohanpur. Again on September 04 other PSs under this circle has been upgraded as Police Station under the command of Inspector In-Charge. Now Belda Circle left with only one Police Station which is Belda Police Station Vide Order No-11 dtd-08.09.04 and ORG No-1469 / SP dtd-04.10.14. Belda PS has a sister concerned at Khakurda known as Jorageria I/C and the unit is looking after of Anchal No-IV, V, VI, VII under Dantan-II Block whereas Belda PS is looking after the area of Anchal No-VIII/I, VIII/II, X, XI, XII, XIII & XVI under Narayangarh Block and both the Block area situated within the Belda PS area leaving two separate establishments. This apart, NH-60 from Nekurseni to Poktapole total 18 KM approx. & SH from Belda to Jahalda approx 22 KM falls under this P.S jurisdiction. |
